1. Minecraft wasn’t originally called Minecraft…
Did you know that Markus persson (also known as notch) originally called Minecraft, Cave Game when he made it in 2009.

2. Overwatch is a very chatty game!
The team combat game Overwatch features an impressive amount of voice lines.
These are action words said when character moves.
When released, it had around 7 thousand voice lines!
These were translated into 12 languages making a total of 84,000 voice lines!
3. Zelda characters are very young!

She actually runs the kingdom of Hyrule in that game, and, according to the official Prima guide, she’s only 20 years old, making her the oldest Zelda in the franchise and the only one older than Link.
4. Everyone is playing Fornite

Some parents are paying tutors £20 per hour to help their child get better at Fortnite.
5. Can you speak Sims?

It is called Simlish and combines Ukrainian, French, Latin, Finnish, English, Fijian, Cebuano, and Tagalog.
Game developers opted to use inflections and tones in the language to portray a character’s feelings and emotions.
Here are some examples of Simlish:
Hello is “Sul Sul”
What’s up is “hooba noobie”
See you later is “geelfrob”
6. Fifa is also famous for its songs!

It is still a mystery as to how the tracks are chosen, with forums suggesting fan feedback and top management choices, but no one knows for sure.
7. Super Mario wasn’t always called Mario

It was only years later that Jumpman would become the well known Italian plumber, Mario.
8.Animal crossing changes seasonally

Look out for all the different changes throughout the year.
In the autumn, the shop is decked out with pumpkins.
9. Ever wondered what Pac-man’s original name was…

Did you know Each of the four ghosts also have names! In Japanese they were originally called Fickle, Chaser, Ambusher and Stupid, but their English names are Inky, Blinky, Pinky and Clyde.
10. Rocket league had a very long name

Thats a mouthful…
It was too difficult to say the name because it was too long, but at the time, it was wacky and cool, so with some creative thinking, the developers came up a shorter title which is known as Rocket League.
